  1. Detailed description of goods and/or services

(ARK Playmats Pty Ltd) is a business in the foam playmats industry that supplies playmats online .

  1. Delivery policy

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 2 days and delivery confirmed by way of courier service tracking number UAfrica

(for e.g. booking number / booking voucher etc. and must mention the use of courier and/or postal services and associated costs, if applicable.)

  1. Export restriction

The offering on this website is available to South African clients only.

  1. Return and Refunds policy

The provision of goods and services by ARK Play is subject to availability and our terms and conditions of sale. In cases of unavailability, ARK Play will refund the

client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 5 % administration fee.

(If appropriate – provide details of your policy regarding damaged goods. Also mention guarantees, warranties, etc.) If approved, your refund (if the goods are in perfect condition) will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please allow a week from us receiving your parcel before the refund is completed. The items must be sent back in perfect condition – in a saleable condition with original packaging. 

All items returned to us are at your own risk, so we recommend using recognised delivery service. 

If you have received a product which turns out to be defective, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible after you become aware of the defect, but in any event 48 hours of receiving your product.

A product is considered defective if there is any material imperfection in the manufacture of the product. 

We will require proof of purchase and photos of the product prior to such product being returned.

You will not be entitled to a return or refund if the defect is as a result of any of any of the following:

  • failure to comply with the wash-care instructions of the product or any other instructions provided with the product;
  • failure due to incorrect usage of the product;
  • damage due to pets;
  • damage arising from weather as well as electrical surges; or
  • damage arising from altering the product after leaving our control.

If you wish us to refund you as opposed to repair or replace the defective product, we will do so within 14 days of the return or such longer period as agreed between us.

If on receipt of the product by us, it is determined the product is not defective, we will not replace the product or refund you the purchase price and you shall be liable for any costs incurred by us in respect of the return.

  1. Customer Privacy policy

ARK Playmats Pty Ltd shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal

information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

  1. Payment options accepted

Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard as well as discount/promo codes. Only one discount/promo code can be used per order. These codes are not stackable and cannot be used in conjunction with each other or any other promotional codes. 

  1. Card acquiring and security

Card transactions will be acquired for ARK Playmats via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African

Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the

website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

  1. Customer details separate from card details

Customer details will be stored by ARK Playmats separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For

more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.

  1. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is

South African Rand (ZAR).

  1. Responsibility

ARK Play takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website,

customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

  1. Country of domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and ARK Play chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under

this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.

  1. Variation

ARK Playmats may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
